Club Mildy

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Club Mildy is a bar and restaurant located in the U.S. city of Kent, Ohio, not far from Kent State University. It was established in 1998 by Leo Baldithicles, a local entrepreneur who still manages the club. Club Mildy is somewhat well-regarded by locals because of the diversity of musical groups that have played there including ex-members of Devo and the Pretenders. It is rumored in Kent that remaining members of The Grateful Dead played there under a pseudonym late in 2002.

The food offered at Club Mildy is inexpensive compared to other local establishments and of higher quality than many surrounding restaurants according to The Daily Kent Stater, a college newspaper on the campus.
