Club Real Deportivo Irapuato A.C. , also known as La Trinca Fresera(The Strawberry Lashers) is a team that pastly played for Primera División Auntil their major loss record caused them to descend spots.
The team was relegated back in 2004, but unfortunately the club has not been very successful thus far being in 18th place out of 20 teams in the clausura 2006.
This team is currently playing in Segunda División, due to lack of victories point accumulation, and also a massive debt on the team's part(also with Queretaro FC, but they uprose to Primera División). The team has been deteriorating so much, that it had once gone up for sale and even belief of disapparition from the Primera División itself[[1]],
