Cloonacool (Irish: Cluain na Cúile-"The Meadow at the back") is a village in County Sligo, Ireland. At the back of what is not described in the name but is widely thought to mean at the back of the mountain. Cloonacool sits at the foot of the Ox mountains. The Mad river runs close to the village before it links up with the Moy river also running close to the village.
