Clonee, also called Clonee Village, Dunboyne, is a rapidly developing satellite village in County Meath, Republic of Ireland about 14 km from Dublin which is easily accessible by regular Dublin Bus bus service as often as 4 times per hour. It is situated just off the main N3 Dublin to Cavan road and is 4 miles north-west of the M50 motorway.
The Kepak Group, a large food processing company with a turnover in excess of €500 million and employing more than 2000 people in Ireland and the UK, moved its headquarters to Clonee in 1981.[1]
In 2003 a large haul of cannabis, estimated to be valued between €3m-€4.5m, was seized by Garda Síochána in Clonee.[2]
