Clodhopper (candy)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Clodhoppers are crunchy, fudge-covered graham clusters. They are marketed by Chris Emery and Larry Finnson of the Kraves Candy Co., located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
They are available in Vanilla, Chocolate, Peanut Butter, and "Cookies 'n Clods" flavours.
[edit] History
The candy was originally made by Emery's grandmother, in vanilla flavour. In 1996, Emery and Finnson decided to sell the Clodhoppers made by Emery's grandmother in their garage. In 1998, they signed a distribution contract with Wal-Mart.
The Krave's factory now produces 2,500 pounds of clodhoppers per hour.[1]
