[edit] Asbestosis

I found the current URL for the NCI link which had "died" in the Asbestosis article, so updated and returned it, ok? Wikityke 23:31, 6 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Blog

Can you please stop advertising your own blog, such as on polycythemia? On the whole, references to journal articles are probably more useful than non-peer reviewed case discussions. JFW | T@lk 07:20, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Blog

I am sorry that you feel that way about my addition of a clinical case in the external links section of the polycythemia article. I believe that clinical cases and images add a significant value since they provide a "true-to-life" description of a particular condition but, of course, they are not (and are not meant to be) the best level of evidence.

ClinicalCases.org is a project supported by physicians at the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio, and is not a blog.

I respect your opinion and appreciate your corrections since this is the only way to make Wikipedia better.

Please do not be discouraged. I recomend reading the following:[[1]], [[2]]. This should help in clearing up any problems in future edits. Rsm99833 06:28, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

I did not mean to offend you in any way, and do not disagree with the value of the Clinical Cases site (sorry I mistook it for a blog). However, I don't think case reports are useful for readers of Wikipedia. I suggest we discuss this issue on Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject Clinical medicine. I will leave a message there and hope other contributors will give their views as to whether the Clinical Cases site is useful for Wikipedia. JFW | T@lk 11:08, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Feingold diet

Hi!

We need a few second opinions on the Feingold diet page. It started out as a crib from QuackWatch, and was re-written by Shula and me. It's now pretty much in the Feingold camp. What we need is some fresh eyes to get it encyclopedic and balanced. Hope you can help. --Slashme 07:40, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Incretins and DPP 4 inhibitors.jpg vectorized

Hi, I noticed you'd uploaded the diagram Incretins and DPP 4 inhibitors.jpg as a JPEG image. Since it wasn't very difficult, I went and redrew it as an SVG vector image and uploaded it to Wikimedia Commons as Incretins and DPP 4 inhibitors.svg. In the future, you might want to consider uploading any diagrams you draw directly to Commons in SVG format; that way, they retain the highest quality possible and can be most easily improved and, for example, translated by others. It seems that Gliffy can export drawings directly in SVG format, so this shouldn't even be difficult to do. —Ilmari Karonen (talk) 23:36, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
