I don't see why mediterranean climate is mentioned in the article about the climate in Pittsburg. The mediterranean climate has hot and very dry summers, while winters are mild and rainy. According to the article, Pittsburgh has pretty warm summers, but with high humidity. I would say Pittsburgh has a Dfa or Dfb climate according to the Koppen climate classification.
