The objects in the glass case in the background are fiberglass wire molds that are used to bolt your head in place, so the machine can accurately hit the right spot in head and neck cancer patients. Since they are molded to the individual, the lucky patient gets to take it home after the radiation treatment has ended as a reminder or trophy.
