Clipper City is the name of a Baltimore, Maryland brewery. The brewery was established by Hugh Sisson in 1995 after he ran Baltimore's first brewpub, Sisson's. In 1998, Clipper City acquired Oxford Brewing Company and continues to produce two wheat beers under that brewery's brand.
Clipper City currently brews 12 beers for its own lines, including Balto MarzHon, a silver medal winner at the 2006 Great American Beer Festival, Small Craft Warning Uber Pils, a bronze medal winner at the 2004 Great American Beer Festival, and Clipper City Gold Ale, a bronze medal winner at the 2000 Great American Beer Festival. It also produces beers for other companies.
