Clemmys is a genus of turtle, comprised of four North American species, including the wood turtle (C. insculpta), the spotted turtle (C. guttata), the bog turtle (C. muhlenbergii), and the western pond turtle (C.marmorata).
"Clemmys guangxiensis" is a composite taxon described from specimens of Mauremys mutica and the natural hybrid "Mauremys" × iversoni (Parham et al. 2001).
