Clearwater Features

Clearwater Features was a company that made & produced the first two television series of Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends between 1984 & 1986 for Yorkshire Television. It is also known for creating Tugs, the company's hit show. Clearwater was founded in 1983 by Robert D. Cardona and David Mitton who did most of the work on Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends. The Company produced many commercials, six hundred top rating TV programs, two feature films and three TV movies but it sadly closed down December 31st 1990 after 8 years at work because of the Tugs coming to a conclusion & Britt Allcroft coming back from America & purchased the models & sets which where used for the show Tugs, & The show Thomas The Tank Engine & Friends remained produced by Britt Allcroft Limited between 1991 until the year 2000. It was later produced by Hit Entertainment

- The production logo of Clearwater Features was a Cadillac car parked at a chemist with palm trees.
- The logo appeared on every ending on every episode of Thomas The Tank Engine & appeared on a flag of a barge in the TUGS Episode 4th of July.
