Clearing the Eye is the first DVD release by the Californian post-metal band Isis. It features live videos (including an entire live performance), the "In Fiction" music video, photo galleries, lyrics for all songs featured, a complete discography, and a 20 page booklet. This release was postponed due to issues with material, sound quality, and the deadline, but has since been released in most regions.

Clearing the Eye was originally to include a full documentary of the band, but was removed just prior to its release: "The ISIS documentary was shelved at the last minute due to deadlines with Ipecac and some sound quality issues where there was not enough time to resolve before the release came out. A full 1 hour long film was completed and may be shown under select circumstances when they arrive, and i will make it known on this site when such an opportunity occurs. A longer more detailed film will be made over the coming months, even years, following the course of this amazing band. I would like to thank Heath Bradley who helped me write and compile and also who edited this monster, for his dedication to completing this project as it was nothing short of extraordinary. There will be more information soon on this project."
