Clearfield High School is a secondary school in Clearfield, Utah, which is part of the Davis School District. The Clearfield High School mascot is the Peregrine Falcon (Falco peregrinus), and is affectionately named "Ferdinand" in live action. The mascot was chosen because of the school's close proximity to Hill Air Force Base, which services the F-16 "Fighting Falcon". The school colors are green and white. The Principal is Michael L. Timothy.

[edit] Student Body Officers

Clearfield High School student government is led by the Student Body Officers. The individual classes are represented by individual officers. As the executive branch of the government, the S.B.O.s are responsible for the success of all Class Officer activities; as well as the following:

  • Entertainment for home football games (in cooperation with Athletic Department as well as various clubs and orginizations)
  • Pep rallies
  • Homecoming Assembly and Lunchtime activities
  • Halloween Stomp
  • Thanksgiving service dinner
  • "Falcons Are Fabulous" charity fundraiser
  • Snowball (Christmas) dance

The Senior Class Officers are responsible for all class renunions and the graduation ceremony. The Senior Class also coordinates and plans the Senior "Prom" and Cotillion.

The Junior Class is responsible for the Sadie Hawkins' Assembly and dance, as well as the "Splat!" activity. The Junior Officers are also responsible for class participation in Spirit Day and the Homecoming parade.

The Sophomore Class is responsible for the Preference (Valentine) Assembly and dance. The Sophomores are also responsible for class participation in Spirit Day and the Homecoming parade.
