Cleansed
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Cleansed is the third play by the English playwright Sarah Kane, written and first performed in 1998.
The play is set in a former university which has been converted into some form of bizarre institution under the rule of the sadistic Tinker.[1]
The name of Tinker was taken from that of the theatre critic for British tabloid The Daily Mail, Jack Tinker, presumably in retaliation for his review of Kane's debut Blasted in which he described the play as "this disgusting feast of filth".
