When uploading images the bext formats are GIF and PNG for logos and non-photographic images, whilst JPG is best for photographs only. Of course remembering that Wikipedia:Image copyright tags is a must. Djegan 14:18, 26 December 2006 (UTC)

Hi. I think you can argue fairuse for the Irish passport article see WP:FUC but I don't agree with its use on the passport article as there are images available to illustrate the article that have more free use. Fairuse depends on not having a free alternative. Is there any special reason you want the Irish passport on that article? If not, I'm kind of the opinion that the image needs to be changed back. I'm not an expert on the subject but I think that would resolve the concerns over the image. --Spartaz 19:23, 16 January 2007 (UTC)

I uploaded the image as it is of higher quality than the current one, on which you can see fold marks on the cover of the passport.

That's not too much of a problem - I can replace the image of the UK passport. I'll revert it back and try and remember to sort out the image tomorrow. PS please sign your posts with ~~~~ - That way we know who said what when :) --Spartaz 19:09, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
