[edit] Teal's tenure
Did Teal remain a part of the series all the way through to the 1980s or did he disappear at one point a la Patricia Holm? 23skidoo 18:44, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
Have edited article to reflect Teal's retirement.--Hoppy Uniatz 08:46, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks. What is "Le Saint contre les Cagoules Grises"? 23skidoo 14:04, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
One of 40 Saint adventures which were published in French and Dutch but not in English. They were constructed in a similiar way to the latter day English collaborations in so much as they used the Charteris written NYH-T comic strip, or the non-Charteris written radio shows, as the basis for the book;they were written up by a collaborator and then polished by Charteris.--Hoppy Uniatz 06:51, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

- I've been thinking of adding a list of the non-English adventures to the Simon Templar article but it would probably result in the booklist being spun-off into its own article (and such lists often get AFD'd). Was "Saint contre" based on a comic strip or a radio show? We should note that in the article. 23skidoo 14:31, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
It was from the Herald-Trib comic trip--Hoppy Uniatz 12:23, 8 September 2006 (UTC) Added a picture of the comic strip Teal--what do you think?--Hoppy Uniatz 20:55, 14 September 2006 (UTC)
- Works for me, however you might want to make sure the image is properly tagged, etc. 23skidoo 00:46, 18 September 2006 (UTC)
