[edit] Mac OS 9 Compatibility

Apple tech notes indicate that Mac OS 9.1 or later is required for the Classic Environment.

[edit] Classic incompatibilities?

When I try to play old-school games like Odell Down Under or Dinopark Tycoon, a lot of times the window doesn't update properly. A very lame workaround is to keep moving the window around, but this is extremely annoying since window contents aren't shown while dragging. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Also, another thing I noticed is that in iTunes 2, the songs play slightly faster. Is this related to the Classic environment, or is it inherent in iTunes 2? --M1ss1ontomars2k4 (T | C | @) 00:21, 12 June 2006 (UTC)

These problems are just the fault of Classic, and unfortunately not much can be done about them. It is much better to, if you have the option, use an older Mac that can boot OS 9 natively instead of using Classic. — Wackymacs 05:50, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
