This is massively confusing. Much of this article is about Clare College when it was known as "Clare Hall". The rest of the article is about Clare Hall as founded in 1966. —Ashley Y 06:09, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

Agreed. I will go ahead with the rewrite. Clare Hallers are most encouraged to contribute. —Coolcyber 10:04, 19 January 2007 (UTC)

It has been requested by Clare Hall to Wikipedia that this page is removed (deleted) for the reasons that it does not in the option of the college present a true and clear picture of the college or its history - I.T Manager Clare Hall on instruction from the Senior Tutor Clare Hall College - Please would the author of this page remove it from the website. Many thanks

There are clear procedures for deleting an article on wikipedia. “not […] present[ing] a true and clear picture of the college or its history” is not usually a reason for deletion. On the other hand, college staff is invited to edit the article to clarify the picture of the college and its history, as long as neutrality is maintained. — Richie 19:28, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Ad cleanup

I've requested ad cleanup for this page as a lot of it makes use of peacock terms. Also, while highly positive, it is also largely unsourced, using only a primary source (college's own website). I'll see what I can find on this. Seraphimblade 00:03, 24 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Authorized Rewrite

It appears that others have tried to modify and/or delete this page. The Senior Tutor has given me a copy of the authorized text that should be written on this website. I've added also referencing, corrected and deleted a few inaccurate representations etc. Would others please stop modifying this page. Thank you —Coolcyber 9:38, 24 January 2007 (UTC)

As this is a wiki, no one owns or may prohibit editing of a page. There are no "authorized versions", all articles on Wikipedia may be modified by any editor. Seraphimblade 10:02, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
