Clayman is a melodic death metal album by In Flames. The album was released by Nuclear Blast in 2000. Most of the lyrics deal with depression and internal struggles. Clayman was the last In Flames release to feature the band's traditional Swedish death metal style, with their subsequent studio release "Reroute to Remain" being their foray into a more mainstream (but progressive) metal sound; they would later fuse the two styles together on their 2006 album Come Clarity.
The album's cover art is based on Leonardo Da Vinci's drawing, the Vitruvian Man.
