Clay Township, Ottawa County, Ohio

Clay Township is one of the 12 townships that make up Ottawa County, Ohio. It is located in the western end of the county, forming part of the boundary with Sandusky County and Wood County. Clay Township borders the following townships and municipalities:
- Allen Township (north)
- Benton Township (east)
- Harris Township (southeast)
- Lake Township, Wood Co. (west)
- Troy Township, Wood Co. (southwest)
- Woodville Township, Sandusky Co. (south)
- The village of Genoa is completely surrounded by the township.
