Clay Township, Gallia County, Ohio

Clay Township is one of the fifteen townships of Gallia County, Ohio, United States.
It borders the following townships:
- Gallipolis Township - north
- Green Township - northwest
- Harrison Township - west
- Guyan Township - southwest corner
- Ohio Township - south
To the east, Clay Township borders West Virginia across the Ohio River. It is located downstream of three of the county's five other Ohio River townships.
Statewide, other Clay Townships are located in Auglaize, Highland, Knox, Montgomery, Muskingum, Ottawa, Scioto, and Tuscarawas Counties.
