Claudia Ellquist

Claudia Ellquist is a retired attorney and co-chair of both the Arizona Green Party and the Green Party of Pima County. [1] [2] She ran for Pima County Attorney in 2004. Her campaign focused mainly on a four-year moratorium of the death penalty. [3]

Elliquist was born in Duluth, Minnesota. She received a bachelor's degree in 1973 and law degrees in 1976 from the University of Arizona. She resides in Tucson, Arizona. [3]

Ellquist is active with the National Organization for Women, Church Women United, the Coalition of Arizonans to Abolish the Death Penalty, and was a founding Commissioner of the Arizona Clean Elections Commission. [3]
