Claudia Brücken (born 7 December 1963, in Berching (Oberpfalz), Germany) is a German singer who fronted the synthpop groups, Propaganda and Act.
After Propaganda, she released one solo album, Love: And A Million Other Things (1991). She has also collaborated with Apoptygma Berzerk, and with the composer, Andrew Poppy on the album Another Language.
In 2000, Brücken and Paul Humphreys (of OMD & The Listening Pool) joined forces after a short tour of the US as “Paul Humphreys of OMD: OMD Revisited”. the tour started in Salt Lake City, and included other OMD strongholds including Los Angeles, Chicago, & Seattle. On the tour they performed songs from both OMD & Propaganda. The fans loved it, and so did Paul & Claudia - so much so, that they decided to take their collaboration into the studio. Their resultant project was Onetwo.
As Onetwo, in June 2004 Brücken and Humphrey became the first established artists to release new material exclusively on eBay with a 5-track EP format called Item. One of the collaborators was Martin Gore of Depeche Mode. Gore co-wrote & contributed guitar to the track "Cloud 9". Also involved was Bob Kraushaar (Über producer), who produced for the such acts as Pet Shop Boys, Erasure, and Propaganda.
Onetwo debuted in September of 2004 at the Carling Academy at Islington. A full-length album was expected in 2005 but did not surface until 2007. Meanwhile, occasional live dates and mini tours were ongoing in 2006. In late 2005, Brücken appeared on Erasure frontman Andy Bell's solo album, Electric Blue in a duet with Bell on two songs.
Onetwo finally released their debut album Instead on February 26, 2007.
She was married on February 14, 1985, to Paul Morley, at the time publicist for ZTT Records.
