Classified Ventures, LLC
Classified Ventures ("CV") is a joint-venture owned by five large media partners whose main focus is in the real estate and automotive online advertising.
Classified Ventures is made up of multiple online businesses -- Apartments.com, RentalHomesPlus.com, Cars.com and HomeGain.com. CV also builds real estate related business software products through its Homescape division. In addition to the national websites, real estate and automotive listings are also carried by media partner's local affiliate network of over 200 online newspaper and television websites.
Classified Ventures is based in Chicago and owned by five leading media companies - Belo Corporation, Gannett Company Inc., The McClatchy Company, Tribune Company and The Washington Post Company.
