[edit] Plot synopsis

The episode starts with Michelangelo telling the adventures of his alter ego "The Turtle Titan", including a very exaggerated story of how he saved the "Silver Sentry" in "The Unconvincing Turtle Titan". The others slap him back to reality but Mikey insists that all good stories need "a tiny bit of tweaking".
The gang sets out to visit a museum and on the way the others make fun about Mikey's story which gets him upset. When he insists that the story was otherwise true, Serling tells him that he cannot find anything about that story. Mikey also is against visiting the museum, saying that he is allergic to culture until he finds out that it is an exhibit about 20th century pop culture. Their visit is disturbed when "the Triple Threat" enters the museum and stealing a comic book heads to the museum cockpit. They steal the museum ship and a girl is hanging from the ceiling. Before the Turtles can rescue her, she falls down and is caught by a flying super hero who calls himself "Turtle Titan", which irritates Mikey further. But they are in trouble as well as the ship starts falling to the ground and they have to be rescued by the "Turtle Titan".

Triple Threat, having escaped the ship and still having the comic book decides to become a 20th century super-villain. Mikey in the mean while sees a report about Turtle Titan in the news and is angry that this guy ripped off his costume. He decides to use the "Batman"-style-signal-light on top of the police station to summon the "impostor" to challenge him. They start a fight and during the fight the Chief Constable is falling off the ledge and is rescued by the Titan and then by Mikey. Mikey flees and lands in the arms of the Titan. They land on a roof top and Mikey tries to convince the Titan that he is the original which the Titan believes when he finds out that only the Silver Sentry knew Mikey's real name.

Meanwhile the Triple Threat broke into a bank only to find out that banks don't have "bags with Dollar signs" anymore. They catch Mikey and the Titan and a fight breaks out which does not go well until Mikey decides to enter the zero-gravity skating ground and use it to fight the Triple Threat. The episode ends on a roof top where the Titan explains that Silver Sentry was his grand father and that he took the Turtle Titan look because he did not inherit the Sentry's powers. Yet, he remembered that his grandfather had a sidekick, Turtle Titan, and decided to reinvent him. Now, there is room for only one Turtle Titan. Mikey decides that the present one should carry on, not the original. He bids farewell and calls the Titan "citizen". And so, the two Titans went through a grapple through Manhattan.
