Clarksville Independent School District

Clarksville Independent School District is a public school district in Red River County, Texas (USA). It serves all students in Clarksville and small portions of nearby communities. As of 2006, Clarksville ISD was home to about 950 students. The district is currently rated Academically Acceptable by the Texas Education Agency.

Joe Oliver came to the district in 2005 as Superintendent of Schools. Pam Bryant serves as Assistant Superintendent overseeing Technology, Special Programs and Staff Development. Charlie Martin also serves as Assistant Superintendent overseeing Faculty & Staff, Curriculum & Instruction and Human Resources.

Clarksville ISD operates four campuses, including Vocational School/DAEP, Clarksville Elementary School, grades K-5, Cheatham Middle School, grades 6-8, Clarksville High School, grades 9-12.
