Clarke Dermody

Clarke Dermody (born 22 April 1980 in Invercargill) is a New Zealand rugby union footballer. He plays as a prop. He was first selected for the All Blacks in 2006 for the test series against Ireland and Argentina .

He has played 20 games for the Highlanders in the Super 14 and 69 games for Southland in the National Provincial Championship. Both of his 2 test appearances were against Ireland in the begin of year test series.

Dermody was born in Invercargill, New Zealand, and attended Southland Boys' High School. He plays for Woodlands in the Invercargill premier competition. He is the second Woodlands player who is currently in the All Blacks with Jimmy Cowan. He was not required in the 30 man squad for the 2006 Tri Nations Series.
