Clarice Bean is a fictional character created by award winning author Lauren Child. Her best friend is called Betty Moody although she is never moody. Her teacher's name is Mrs Wilberton, she drives Clarice Bean round the bend, having falsely labelled Clarice a trouble maker because of her friendship with Karl Wrenbury (who IS a trouble maker). Clarice Bean has 2 brothers (Minal Cricket [younger than Clarice] and grumpy teen Kurt) she also has one older sister (Marcie) who is very hard to get along with. Clarice's Dad has a very important job in the City. She has an Uncle who is a Fire Man and an Uncle who is a Police Man. [They are her mum's brothers]. Her Mum works very hard looking after everyone at home. Her Grandad who is very forgetful and his dog Cement also live with Clarice. Clarice shares a bedroom with Minal, but really wishes she had a room of her own, so should could get a little peace and quiet! Clarice Beans latest book, "Don't look now" is all about her worst worries.
