Also known as Clarence Central High School or, formerly, Clarence Senior High School, this is a public institution for grades 9-12 located in the growing and peaceful community of Clarence, New York at 9625 Main St, Clarence, NY 14031-2083.

The modern campus underwent renovation from 1996 to 1998. A new wing with classrooms and district offices and a second main hallway were added before construction moved to refurbishing older areas, including classrooms, hallways, lobby, and the auditorium. A large new gymnasium and a state-of-the-art, 25-yard, eight lane swimming pool were added. New music rooms with soundproofing and special acoustic shaping for the award-winning bands and orchestras were added. The basement target riflery range was rebuilt with new ventilation systems. A vast new two-floor media center replaced the library, bringing excellent technology and multimedia to the students.

Created in 1946, the district includes six schools in the Clarence area, north of Buffalo, New York.

District Quote: "Together we make learning a way of life."

The district is consistently among the highest rated school districts in Western New York. However, in 2006, excellence wasn't completely achieved as Clarence stayed in the second spot in Business First School rankings. The Williamsville school district beat Clarence for the third straight year.
