Claremont Shopping Centre is a medium sized shopping centre in Claremont in Perth's inner south-west suburbs. The centre will open in 2010 at the latest, although it is predicted the centre will open as early as 2008. It is currently under construction and when complete will feature a 2 level 5, 821 sq.m David Jones department store (smallest in portfolio), Coles, 4 mini majors plus over 140 specialty stores. The differentiating feature of this shopping centre from others in Perth is that it will feature 3 levels of apartments on top of the 2 level centre, it will be situated in an already busy shopping/business district near a train station and that it will be situated mostly outdoors, with the centre being similar to many Spanish plazas and Italian piazzas. When finished, the shopping centre will be the largest shopping centre in the Hawaiian portfolio and also the largest in the Perth-Fremantle corridor.
