Claremont Graduate University (formerly The Claremont Graduate School) was founded in 1925 in the city of Claremont, California, as the first academic institution in North America to devote itself entirely to graduate study. It is one of two graduate institutions in the Claremont Colleges consortium, the other being the Keck Graduate Institute. It is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
