Claire Rankin

Claire Rankin (born January 23, 1974 in Canada) is a Canadian actress. Was raised on Prince Edward Island, Canada. Is a trained singer and dancer. Played Cossette in the Canadian production of Les Miserables. Trained with the Stratford Festival Young Company for 2 years. Spent 4 years with the Stratford Shakespearean Festival playing classical roles. i.e.- Miranda in "The Tempest" Danced the classical ballet role of Louise in "Carousel" at the Stratford Shakespearean Festival. She is best known for her role as Kate Heightmeyer in Stargate Atlantis. She also guest starred the part of "Alice" in Star Trek: Voyager.
She was married to Josh Randall on 10 September 2000. Her mother-in law, Randall's mother, is author and syndicated columnist Sharon Randall.
