Clã

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Clã (English: Clan) is a Portuguese pop-rock band of a mixed nature in terms of style, ranging from moments of pure balladry, through jazzy details, to enthusiastic pop songs, which is currently widely regarded as one of the best Portuguese bands in the present musical context. They have established themselves as a highly popular live act and, besides consistent positive critical response, their work has been met with relative financial success.

The band was formed in November 1992, consisting of brothers Hélder (guitar) and Fernando (drums) Gonçalves, Manuela Azevedo (voice), Pedro Rito (bass) Miguel Ferreira and Pedro Biscaia (both on keyboards).
