CKEC is New Glasgow, Nova Scotia's main radio station. It has been on the air since December 23, 1953. Originally broadcasting at 1230 KHz, it moved to 1320 KHz in 1960. CKEC-AM will be replaced by CKEC-FM (94.1 MHz) sometime in 2007.
