CKBT-FM

CKBT is a Canadian radio station, broadcasting at 91.5 FM in Kitchener, Ontario from the Global TV tower at 475 Ayr Road, near Paris, Ontario. The station broadcasts a Top 40 format as 91.5 The Beat. The station had been doing rhythmic top 40 until August 6, 2005, the day they segued to their current format.
The station was launched by CanWest Global in 2004. Studios are at 235 King Street East, Suite 120, Kitchener.
In September 2006, Corus Entertainment, already owner of CJDV-FM in nearby Cambridge, announced it would buy CKBT, as well as Winnipeg's CJZZ-FM, from CanWest, subject to CRTC approval.
