I was unclear why you used a pipe to change the correct "alternative" to the incorrect (though admittedly commonly misused) "alternate"? --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 23:21, 24 January 2006 (UTC)

Mel, it was because "[[Alternate history]]" was what was already in the page and it just redirects to Alternative history, which is a disambiguation. I just figured I'd pipe it around the redirect rather than changing the text. I'm planning to go back and see which link off of [[Alternative history]] I want to change that to. (I'm currently working on "Alternative history" to get it off the Disambiguation pages with links list.) Does that help?

Hello. It is not enough to just license a picture. You also have to state who created it so the license can be proven correct and Wikipedia can be remain free. This is official policy. Also, the fact that the picture is low-resolution and inferior quality does not necessarily mean that it was created by the uploader. It could have been taken from news sites, blog, the list goes on.
