Zona Colonial is the First Settlement made By Columbus and The Spanish Explorers In the New world. Zona Colonial makes part of the Original Santo Domingo de Guzmán , Dominican Republic. It could be traced back as early as the 1500's. The Zona Colonial District is located in the West Corner of the Ozama River which bisest the City. The whole District today is possibly around 5km2 or less. It has important Landmark of the Republic Including Alcazar De Colon, Fortaleza ozama, Catedral primada De America, and others. The city was sorround by a Defense wall extending from The ozama river to what they Call the "La puerta Del Conde".

The Spanish used this Settlement as the first point of influence in the Americas and after that conquered much of the American mainlands.
