I tried (in sandbox) to add a format parameter to go with URL (e.g., to warn of pdf files), as exists on Template:Cite web, Template:Cite journal et. al. I am completely out of my depth, and managed to produce nothing but mangled templates. Anyone with better template-fu feel up to it? - Looks like it works now, thanks. I'm going to fix the documentation to reflect that (and to remove the subst someone added to Usage on the main page - subst'ing citation templates will produce nightmarish results when templates change, like now, since the changes won't get picked up.) --KGF0 ( T | C ) 05:39, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
