City of Glasgow Chorus

The City of Glasgow Chorus is a choir based in Glasgow, Scotland. The choir was founded in 1983 by Graham Taylor, who is still its Director of Music.

It is the biggest independent choral group in the west of Scotland and a significant player in Scotland’s arts environment. The choir is known for its policy of performing less familiar pieces in the mainstream choral repertoire, including:

The Chorus presents a series of self-promoted concerts each season,. The Chorus regularly perform in the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, and the opening gala of Glasgow's West End Festival.
