CityLife Church

CityLife Church, formerly known as Waverley Christian Fellowship, is a non-denominational megachurch in Australia. It is Melbourne’s largest church and Australia’s second largest after Hillsong, with over 6,000 people attending weekend services. Its leadership team is headed by senior minister Mark Conner. CityLife Church is a Pentecostal church in its theology.

CityLife is a multi-site church, with meeting venues in Knox and Casey in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs. It also has a daughter church in Altona, in Melbourne’s west. The church runs Waverley Christian College, a Christian school with over 1,000 students.

The church was established in 1967 by Richard Holland. In 1983, Parkmore Full Gospel Church and its Christian school (now Waverley Christian College) merged with Waverley Christian Fellowship. In 1986, Kevin Conner became senior minister of the church (then about 600 members). Then in 1995, Mark Conner, Kevin's son, was appointed senior minister.

In February 2004, CityLife Church - Hobsons Bay was established as a separate church, and in April 2006, CityLife Church - Casey was established as a second campus of the Knox church. The church also has Chinese, Oromo (February 2004) and Spanish (March 2007) congregations.

CityLife also have a large youth ministry, EPIC Youth with 600 regular attendees^[1].

CityLife worship team members have been involved in several of the Resource Christian Music recordings, and since supplement 38, the recordings have been recorded at the church and produced by worship team members Carl Laurens and Adrian Murley.^[2]^[3]

Steven Fielding, Australian MP with the Family First party, is a member of CityLife.
