More findings. User:Makalp displays the {{user Ataturk}} userbox on his userpage, reading: Peace at home, peace in the world. - Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. While I'm assuming good faith this could possibly be an indication of a conflict of interest. In any case; I'm not used to dealing with category blanking; so here's a list over articles I know where previously in this category:
- Bukan (removed by makalp with edit summary "cleanup", removed by Makalp again)
- Qorveh ("cleanup")
- Hermêle ("cleanup")
- Afrin, Syria ("cleanup")
- Shahindej ("cleanup")
Yes, I'm going through his contributions right now. It seems that he is not only removing the category, but also every reference to Kurdistan - including the ethnicity. See this, where he not only removes category but also "Kurdish", leaving only "Azeri" to describe the ethnicities in Shahindej.
- Sardasht ("cleanup") <-- more removing of every mention of kurdish.
- Saqqez ("cleanup") <-- now it's getting ridiculous. I'm off to alert an admin. Jobjörn (Talk ° contribs) 15:25, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
Didn't you know that Kurds don't exist? Yes, it's true - they're only "mountain Turks"!--Domitius 15:30, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
