Cistrana

CISTRANA is a project co-funded under the European Commission's Information Society Technology (IST) initiative's 5th framework programme (FP5). Cistrana is initiated by a European Research Area (ERA) working group of Member and Associated States.
CISTRANA acronym stands for the Coordination of IST Research and National Activities.
The aim of CISTRANA is to achieve coordination of national ICT programmes with each other and with European RTD programmes in the ICT sector in order to improve the impact of all RTD efforts in Europe and to reinforce European ICT competitiveness.
