CIRV is a Canadian radio station, broadcasting at 88.9 FM in Toronto. The station airs a multicultural programming format. The station launched in 1986 at FM 88.7, and moved to its current frequency in 1993. It is owned by Frank Alvarez, who also owns and operates FPTV, a Portuguese ethnic channel.
CIRV's programming is predominantly Portuguese and Spanish although it also airs some Ukrainian, Polish, Chinese, Russian and Punjabi programming as well.
