Does anyone know when the branch to the state line, opened in 1863, was abandoned? Was it actually not abandoned until recently? It may have still existed in 1984, but I can't find it on any employee timetables or CT1000 forms going back to 1945 (though the 1945 CT1000 does list "JC" Tower at Richmond Junction/Glen - or was this where the line from Cinci joined the line from Columbus?), and it's not on ca. 1925 division maps. Maybe it was reclassified as a yard track? It could have been abandoned as early as 1869, when the two Columbus-Richmond lines were placed under common operation, but an 1890s map shows it. --NE2 17:05, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
