Cinnamoroll
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Cinnamoroll also known as Baby Cinnamon is one of the many characters created by the Japanese stationary corporation Sanrio. He is a white puppy with long ears, blue eyes, and a plump and curly tail that resembles a cinnamon roll.
[edit] Back story
One day while the owner of Café Cinnamon was admiring the sky, a tiny white puppy came floating by, looking just like a small fluffy cloud. She thought, "Maybe he caught a whiff of the cinnamon rolls and came to check them out." She was right. The curious pup took a shine to the cafe owner and her delicious cinnamon rolls, so he decided to stay. Because his tail was plump and curled up like a cinnamon roll, she decided to call him Cinnamoroll.
Sweet little Cinnamoroll was instantly popular with customers and soon became Café Cinnamon's official mascot. Now, when he's not napping on the cafe terrace, you can find him flying around town looking for fun and new adventures with his friends Chiffon, Mocha, Espresso, Cappuccino and Little Milk.
[edit] Popularity
Since his introduction into the Sanrio market in the year 2002, Cinnamoroll has become one of the most popular Sanrio characters. His sales are second only to Hello Kitty. It is assumed that because of the decline of the character Pochacco, Cinnamoroll was created as the eventual replacement character. Although some mistake Cinnamoroll for a rabbit, Sanrio's web site identifies Cinnamoroll as a puppy.
His cuteness is the reason he is probably still so popular. (He is popular among all ages! Young and Old!)
