Cinnaminson Mall

Cinnaminson Mall was an indoor mini-mall that was anchored by Woolco (1972-1983); later a Caldor.

There was a discount twin movie theater opperated by the Music Maker chain. Music Maker was later bought out by Loews. When the mall first opened there were a number of shops inside -- clothing, cards & gifts, pizza, chinese restaurant, jewelery, etc. At it's demise a gym/spa occupied a quarter of the area, also a church used space, and a market researh firm, Mar's Surveys. An Acme Markets grocery store was built just to the south of the mall (Woolco end) at the same time the mall was built, but was not attached to the mall. This Acme replaced a store built in the 1950's which was closer to US 130. A Thrift Drugs store (now Eckerd) was built attached to this Acme building. Acme has moved to the former Clover Square mall a mile north. The building (Woolco and mall) was razed October 2005. The original 1950s sign reading "Acme Markets" stood until then also. A Bank of America branch (formerly Fleet Bank and Summit Bank) and Casual Male (former Rustler Steak House)reained as outparcel buildings until Winter 2007.
