Cindy Adams

Cindy Adams is an American gossip columnist. She is a septuagenarian, a native New Yorker and the widow of Joey Adams. Adams writes for the New York Post and contributes to WNBC's "Sunday Today in New York". Cindy had previously contributed twice a week on WNBC's "Live at Five" until the newscast took on a new format on March 12, 2007.
Adams became a syndicated columnist in 1981; she was an original contributor to the tabloid TV show A Current Affair and has appeared often on Good Morning America. She has a fragrance line, Gossip, and has written several books. Adams is known for her friendships with many of the famous people she writes about. She also has a pet boutique at Macy's department store called Jazzy's of Park Avenue; Jazzy was the name of Adams' dog, who is now deceased.
In 1990, Adams served as a panelist on the television game show To Tell the Truth. Born as Cynthia Heller. Graduate of PS 35 in Hollis, Queens, NY in June 1943.
