Cimber Air is an airline based in Sønderborg, Denmark, operating scheduled domestic flights in co-operation with Scandinavian Airlines (SAS), with regional connections to mainland Europe. A separate network is flown in Germany in co-operation with Lufthansa. Its main bases are Copenhagen Airport and Sønderborg Airport, with a hub at Billund Airport.

The airline was established on 1 August 1950 and started operations in 1950. It was founded by Captain Ingolf Nielsen. Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) purchased 26% of Cimber Air in May 1998 and expanded its codeshare agreement. In March 2003, SAS sold the stake back to Cimber Air Holding. Cimber Air Germany is a handling company based in Kiel. Cimber Air is wholly owned by Cimber Air Holding (Nielsen family).
