From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ciaran Creagh is an Irish writer from Dublin who has authored three works:

  1. Last Call - "set in Dublin's Mountjoy Jail in the 1950's ... centres on Bertie Maguire, condemned to be hanged for the murder of his wife, despite his protestations of innocence, and the wardens who mind him on his last night." Based on the real-life execution of Michael Manning, the last person executed in the Republic of Ireland, which Creagh's father, Timothy, a prison guard minding Manning on his last night, witnessed.
  2. Blaggers - "follows a well-planned revenge attempt on the local tough guy made by three of his hard-done-by former friends who try to set him up for the robbery of a dole office".
  3. Homefront - not yet reviewed
