The two of us are obviously at odds as to what constitutes an advert. However, rather than removing all reference to Robinson May Ball, perhaps you could identify the subjective statements of the passage and modify it until it's no longer in your mind an advert, rather than removing all reference to the Ball whatsoever. Personally I think it's all fine, and could even find sources (TCS and Varsity) for some of the less objective observations. Cheers, BG
